This expansion is an army box that allows you to build a faction ready to enter the battlefield.

Faced with a massive Imperial army, the Rebels of Echo Base had few resources with which to organize their defense. Using local wildlife, such as tauntauns, and led by Rebel heroine Leia Organa, these valiant fighters showed ingenuity and courage in a losing battle.

However, they managed to hold out long enough to allow most of the transport ships to escape Hoth and keep the flame of the Rebellion alive a little longer.
