More Pokémon-ex enter the fray, including Arcanin and Leviator with stunning new appearances. Even more Pokémon are appearing as true masterpieces on cards with rare artwork. Discover them all in the Scarlet and Purple expansion for the Pokémon TCG.

This expansion features a revamped version of Pokémon-ex, a game mechanic consisting of Pokémon with high HP and powerful attacks and talents.

Unlike the Pokémon-EX of the previous series, which were all Basic Pokémon, the Pokémon-ex of the Scarlet and Violet series can be Basic, Level 1 or Level 2 Pokémon. These Pokémon are powerful, but they offer two reward cards when knocked out.

Inspired by the Teracrystallization phenomenon in the latest Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, the expansion marks the debut of Pokémon-ex Teracrystal, with unique, textured artwork highlighting their Teracrystal Type. These Pokémon cards will follow the same rules as Pokémon-ex, but will not take damage from attacks cast while on the Bench
