THE STORY

When the treacherous T'au shoot down a Valkyrie escort carrying an Astra Militarum general on the beleaguered Imperial world of Dasht i-Kevar, defeat may be assured: what the general knows could wipe out the war effort and cause the infamous xenos to take over the planet.

Only the Kasrkins, the elite of the elite Cajun soldiers, stand a chance of bringing him back, but the enemy that Captain Bharath Obeysekera and his squad must face is unlike any they have known in the past. They face the desert itself, endless and unrelenting.

With sandstorms leaving them without support, Obeysekera can only rely on his soldiers.
